Mielenkiintoinen huippuvierailu Berliinistä tulossa Tubaan, joka sijaitsee osoitteessa Mannenkatu 2, Oulu.

Yhdysvaltalaisen laulaja-lauluntekijä Dora Bleun ja belgialais-kongolaisen Cedrik Fermontin duo luo esityksessään synkkiä ja unenomaisia tunnelmia, joissa viipyilevät melodiat kohtaavat kuohuvat äänimaisemat ja jyrkän hiljaisuuden.

Dora Bleu on Berliinissä asuvan, yhdysvaltalaisen Dorothy Gellerin musiikkiprojekti. Dora Bleu on esiintynyt vuodesta 2007 lähtien useita kertoja Euroopassa sekä Pohjois-Amerikassa ja tehnyt kiertueillaan laajaa yhteistyötä erilaisten muusikoiden kanssa. Vuonna 2020 hän muodosti duon belgialais-kongolaisen Cedrik Fermontin kanssa, jonka sävellykset ja musiikki-installaatiot vaihtelevat äänitaiteesta ja elektroakustisesta noise-musiikkiin, teolliseen ja perinteisempään ”tanssimusiikkiin”, kuten elektroniikkaan tai acidiin.

Dora Bleu is the musical project of american singer Dorothy Geller, since 2019 living in Berlin, Germany. Through the echoes of an acoustic guitar and vocal expressions, she explores inner life as a site of the militia state. With vocals that erupt trauma within storytelling and uneven compositions driven by stark silences and bent notes, her songs ignore genres to exhume vulnerable, dreamlike states. Since 2007 Dora Bleu has toured many times in Eastern and Western Europe and on the North American East coast and collaborated extensively with musicians in North America and Europé. In 2020 she formed a duo with Berlin-based belgian-congolese electronic experimentalist Cedrik Fermont. They also perform as a trio with the addition of greek guitarist and electric oud player Periklis Tsoukalas (Baba Zula, Diamanda Galas) with whom Dora has collaborated for several years.

Cedrik Fermont is a Berlin-based Belgian-Congolese composer, musician, mastering engineer, author, radio host, concert organizer, independent researcher and label manager (at Syrphe). He operates in the field of noise, electronic and experimental music since 1989. Cedrik’s compositions and installations vary from sound art and electroacoustic to noise, industrial and more conventional ‘dance’ music such as electronica or acid. He works solo and in the projects Axiome, Tasjiil Moujahed, Ambre and collaborated with Marie Takahashi, Luong Hue Trinh and many more. Cedrik Fermont’s main research focuses on electronic, electroacoustic, experimental and noise music originating from Asia and Africa He has extensively toured Eurasia, Africa and North America and composed music for sound installations, theatre and choreographies.
